Charlotte

I can’t stop thinking about how he touched me. I wish I could feel his hand in other places.

Oh gosh, now he’s sitting next to me.

Is that some sort of invitation?

What should I do?

I know he’s my friend and coworker and I don’t want to ruin any of that... But I just want to taste his lips.

Just once.

I turn to him and get my face close to his, our lips almost touching.

“Can I kiss you?” I ask.

He nods then I put my lips against his gently, and the feeling sends shivers down my spine.

I need more.

I grab his shirt and pull him closer to me.

More.

I hear him groan, then feel his tongue against mine, then his arm around my waist pulling me onto his lap.

Everything gets quiet, and my heart beats faster.

I want him.

I need him.

And now I know he feels the same way.

I pull away and look at him.

I notice his nametag peeking out of his pocket, and then I remember.

He’s my coworker.

As much as I want him, we can’t go beyond that kiss.

“Logan we should try to keep things professional,” I say climbing out of his lap and adjusting my dress.
